Realistically, sure. But in both Star Wars and the Galaxy's Edge theme park, kids get mixed up in adventures all the time. In the movies and TV shows there Anakin, Cindel Towani, young Boba Fett, all the younglings that Anakin killed, Baby Yoda, etc. In the park, well, if you watch the special on Galaxy's Edge on Disney+ there's a scene with Rey having a group of kids join the Resistance. What you don't see is a doofy-looking white guy in his mid-40s joining the Resistance in hopes that he can impress Rey and maybe get some alone time with her later. Because I wasn't there when they were filming, sure, but also because it's an experience meant for kids.
I doubt there's anything in any of the game missions that involves actual peril to life and limb, so at least in-game they should be perfectly kid-friendly.
