gaming pc

I am looking to get a gaming pc. Probably a desktop. Whats a good one you use. I only play the sims on it plus one other game that isnt too much space taking. Not looking to spend over 1000.

    You will NEVER go wrong with ASUS. I've still got mine from '09 and it works fine, I still run Sims 3 on it!

    This is the one i am now leaning towards.
  • I suggest the ASUS. I heard HP comps are not very good for gaming even if the OMEN is considered one. It's pretty expensive too compared to some other brands that have similar specs. ASUS is great for gaming, so they know what's up.
  • The ASUS ROG series are great -- I've had mine for about 3 years and thinking of upgrading next year (I'd like to get one that's a little lighter and thinner for when I'm traveling). I've also read that Walmart (of all places) is now carrying gaming systems (laptops and desktops) that are fairly highly rated by some of the top gaming journalists and they're competitively priced. I didn't see a RAM size in any of your specs and that's also pretty important; make sure you have enough RAM to run the game (4GB RAM is minimum specs, but I"d go with at least 12GB if you can; that's what my current ROG laptop came with and I don't have many issues with the game.
