Thank you, thank you so much... I'm just lost for words... choked up.. I was patient and waited so long... (tears of joy), wish I could send you flowers right now :D- Thanks for asking!!! And such good news- can't wait and I so hope we get a farming EP
- Yes!! SO glad gardening flowers are back! And it sounds more evolved than ever. Thanks so much for sharing!
   - I'm excited about herbs! I hope they work like the ones in The Sims 3 University Life because those improved not only the Gardening system but also the cooking one. :D
Also, I wonder how growing flowers will work, since I don't recall we've ever had that before. - SimplyJenRising SpectatorI wonder if we are getting a gardener to hire in TS4. I know TS1 had one, not sure about TS2, TS3 had plenty of things to help make gardening easier but no gardener to hire over the phone like you can with a maid.
- 2 weeks later: you can't grow anything they are only decorative
- FriendlySimmersNew TravelerThis is great news because i plan on having my sims plants lots of flowers
And i hope in the sims4 i will be able to plant Marygolds and petunias in my sims gardens - YAAAY~ I love my Sims to garden!!! Looking forward to some green thumbness~~~
- This is such great news.
And it's been confirmed that there's Mendelian and LaMarckian genetics in plants in TS4.
Mendelian genetics would mean cross-pollinating plants and potentially getting different offspring, which would be cool.
LaMarckian genetics would mean that you can change an adult plant in some way and its offspring would retain the changes, which sounds really interesting!
Can't wait to see how it all works. It's going to be so fun. I hope there are lots of things to do with harvestables, too! - bshag4lvSeasoned AdventurerThanks so much for the info...gardening is one of my favorites too. And now our sims can also grow flowers too, in the words of Cinderellimouse, *happy dance* :D
Edit for typos
