Gardening skill: flowers, herbs, vegetables and fruit!

At first, I wasn't a massive fan of having so much farming content, but the new gardening system sounds so amazing that the idea is starting to grow on me. :mrgreen: I hope we get new collectibles with expansion packs and store content, or whatever the equivalent to store content is. :mrgreen:

Combined with an Open for Business expansion, you could start a business from them. :D

I also hope there's collectibles that you can only get through growing them, rather than buying them straight out the grocery store. It would add an extra layer of purpose to gardening. :D

zerbu thanks again for all the info gathering you do and if we do get the farming EP - your copy is on me :)

I really hope they bring back a lot of the TS2 gardening elements like green houses, compost bins that actually work, juicers, and the option to stock the fridge rather than have to put it away yourself. I can't wait to see what they have done with the skill and I am happy that they have added more stuff. Now if I can just get those egg laying chickens, I'll be in business. I really was not a fan of meat and eggs growing in fields.

It could be a nice side job for a sim, sort of like the careers in TS3. An order could be placed and the sim would need to have the flowers either on hand (in their garden) or go out in the town and search for it to complete the arrangement.
