I was thinking it could be a move on from pets? Like Farm Life? You'd still get cats, dogs, horses and minor pets because you do get them on farms. Only we'd get the cows and sheep and chickens and llamas! :lol: Then we could get crafty skills and country pet shows and stuff. :D Hay rides!

Zerbu, yes, I love the Uni life herbs!!! I'm curious about the flowers too. I've always wanted flower that actually grow. I'm wondering if they can be used in food like lavender and camomile? Or if they're for decoration? If we can make perfume and herbal remedies I'll be so happy!

Simasaurus09 (love your name so much) I'm hoping we can be the gardener and hire the gardener! And if we switch households and hire a gardener, it'll be the one we designated. :mrgreen:

This is great news because i plan on having my sims plants lots of flowers

And i hope in the sims4 i will be able to plant Marygolds and petunias in my sims gardens

This is such great news.

And it's been confirmed that there's Mendelian and LaMarckian genetics in plants in TS4.

Mendelian genetics would mean cross-pollinating plants and potentially getting different offspring, which would be cool.

LaMarckian genetics would mean that you can change an adult plant in some way and its offspring would retain the changes, which sounds really interesting!

Can't wait to see how it all works. It's going to be so fun. I hope there are lots of things to do with harvestables, too!

At first, I wasn't a massive fan of having so much farming content, but the new gardening system sounds so amazing that the idea is starting to grow on me. :mrgreen: I hope we get new collectibles with expansion packs and store content, or whatever the equivalent to store content is. :mrgreen:

Combined with an Open for Business expansion, you could start a business from them. :D

I also hope there's collectibles that you can only get through growing them, rather than buying them straight out the grocery store. It would add an extra layer of purpose to gardening. :D
