Geek Con/Romance Festival gone bad

Hooray it worked. The Spice Festival appeared on a Friday around 5 and I sent my sim to it. Stayed until the end and everything started to disappear. If you have two on top of each other, stay until the end of each and they seem to go. The game will remove the festival you are currently at if you stay till the end and you will need to visit the other one separately to remove that (by staying to the end). Frustrating that this has to happen but at least it seems to have a fix.
When I stayed until the end of The Spice Festival, I waited until everything had disappeared too just to make sure but usually, leaving once the objects start to disappear tends to make all festivals disappear totally for next time I visit the area.
