**The next scene was delayed by rabid monkeys then stolen by cheesecake only to be returned as if it never left**
....
Moments later, Nancy walks out of the hospital still reeling from the events earlier. Momentarily forgetting that she didn't arrive in her car, she paces around looking for her car in the parking lot, when Malcolm walks up, "Sul sul, mom!" With a look of confusement, Nancy looks up at the greeter, "Oh goodness, Malcolm, I completely forgot about you. Could you help your mother out and drive her home?" Mumbling to himself, "Why does everyone seem to forget about me?", then to his mother, "Sure, Mom. I'll take you home.."
*scene fades..*
A few days later Dustin sat on the couch staring at the ground, he had only talked to the Keatons a couple of times and he never thought Justine would be the one to tell him that his mother had passed on. He hadn't broken anything, he hadn't told Beau, or the Burbs, in fact he was the only one home while his youngest brother was at daycare. His eyes were red, his throat was dry, he couldn't remember the last time he cried, and the tears weren't fake. He looked at the clock for the thirtieth time, every minute had dragged by, he was just stuck on the fact that his mom wasn't coming home. He ended the call but he still head the cordless phone in his hands. Dustin got up, he had to walk to the school and get Beau, both their parents were gone no matter how he felt he would numb every feeling in his body to take care of the boys like Brandi would have wanted.
He was a brat, but she trusted him anyways.
Sunset Valley....
Vita took Skip to the local salon and got him all cleaned up, she didn't question the randomly placed shower addition anything that was convenient and didn't waste her precious time belonged in her town. With Skip all cleaned up she could admit that he had a much better set of pixels than her husband did. She hoped Mr. Alto was on his best behavior or she might have to replace him for a time or two.
"Come along Skip, I'm sure after that cheap hospital food you could use some quality food, if you can be patient I can promise you the best lobster thermidor this town has to offer." she said as they walked out of the salon.
Skip smiled a little, as far as he knew Vita was the nicest woman he had met today.
"Well sure, but you don't have to do that."
"Oh nonsense Skip, I'm a public figure, I couldn't just bring you out and about and then leave you alone on the streets, I'm just not that sort of person."
"Well I appreciate it ma'am, if there is anything you need and I can help you, just let me know."
She smirked in her two faced way.
"Oh Skip call me Vita, and I'm sure if I need to trouble you, you'll be the first to know."
She led him to her home, and toward a taste of luxury that would lead him to be her little errand boy...
*End Scene*
