get rid of ghosts?

find the ghosts tomb stones click on it and choose 'send to something' (don't remember the exact wording, it's like send them to the never world) and they will be gone forever.

I do this for every house that i'm not playing? I have like 4 houses that only ghosts are living in

Just evict the ghost in Manage Households. The household will disappear completely rather than becoming unhoused.

well yea i've done that. But it keeps happening. is there a way to prevent it?

How do you get rid of NPC/townie ghosts that don't seem to live anywhere? I have coworkers I can't find in a house. Which, by the way, going to each house looking for ghosts and their tombstones is a ridiculous time sink. Especially if they didn't die on the home lot.

well yea i've done that. But it keeps happening. is there a way to prevent it?

Go into manage households and delete all the ghosts there - I have about 10 in MH and they never wind up in an empty house.

I wish my neighborhoods had ghosts. :( I haven't seen one since getting the game.

I tried a freewill household and couldn't kill one Sim. I don't know why I'm having a harder time killing off Sims this time. I blame some of the patches. It used to be easier to do. So I get frustrated as a deviant Simmer sometimes.

Well I believe one of the houses that have ghosts were actually NPCs Maxis added to the game - I think they were anyway. I see the opposite problem in my game as i tried to make a haunted house and the game keeps culling my ghosts. Never in the history of Sims did the game cull ghosts. It has always been our option to get rid of them if we wanted to by sending them to the Netherworld or not. But Sims 4 does cull the ghosts if your population gets big enough as if it is not a ghost at all but just another NPC. I would guess maybe your ghost are former sims you played - otherwise i am sure the game should have culled them by now. The game is supposed to keep from culling played sims - but honestly I really don't like Sims 4 compared to the other three versions and have not played it enough hours to see all of that myself. I only have the experience with the one house I keep trying to make a haunted house with by placing downloaded ghosts into the house - because I have not played them - the dumb game keeps culling them.
