(GET TO WORK) Sim keeps dropping medical samples

I have a Sim, and he drops like 3-4 samples each time, and it's really getting on my nerves. How do I prevent this? I heard that washing hands could help, otherwise random. If it's random with no factors then I'm gonna make a mod for myself to not let it happen. Can someone tell me if it is random or based on some factors? Thanks! This will really boost my Sim's career.

    I THINK I found out. I looked in the game files, and there was a motive called "HygieneHands" and "ExamBed Dirtiness" Maybe washing hands would help, and clean beds.. and it's because it's loot from the file that makes a Sim collect a swab

    It's kinda just a part of the game play in my experience. The higher they get in the career the less often that happens. Logic so could potentially help with this but uncertain. It does help with lab analysis.

    no it does not. My Sim has level 10 logic skill and still a clumsy, absent-minded Sim in work.

    For detective careers I'm gonna make a mod so it always works using studio.
