Yes! I was gifted GT and while I appreciate the club's idea in theory I want to be able to control it.
I had a sim join her first club and then she went home-welcome wagon turned up and because two of the club members were assigned to welcome wagon it triggered a club meeting and the house was full of sims eating, sleeping in her bed, using her computer and watching her tv. It was very annoying.
