One of my Sim's kids has the Artistic aspiration. I'm having a hard time getting her inspired so she can make 2 drawings. How do I get her to be inspired?

RSully if you bought supernatrual you can also go under lights and find the purple plumbob it may also give your child sim a inspired moodlet

If you have the Outdoor Retreat GP, cloudgaze/stargaze will give a 6 hr. (might be 4 hr., not sure) inspired moodlet too. The great thing about this action is that as soon as the moodlet appears, you can cancel them cloudgazing and it'll stay. Only takes a few seconds. :)

If you have the Spa Day GP, you can light Evocative Lemon in the Scent-From-Heaven incense holder.

if you don't have any packs, in my experience the easiest is to have one of the parents "encourage" them. It'll be on the social when when you click on them while drawing, and they'll stay inspired the whole time they're drawing, so you don't have to worry about inspiration running out. Other than that, yeah, thoughtful shower, cloud/star gazing if you have Outdoor Retreat and some career rewards, like for painter and writer, have inspiring auras. If you have Get Together you could form a club at set an inspired vibe. Oh! Also postcards! If you use the computer to "find a penpal", then later you can ask them for a postcard. That'll have an inspiring aura as well. But I usually just use the encourage thing.

Play with lump of clay or Daydream. Or use the Inspiring aura plumbob reward lamp, if you have it.

I'll have to see if her parents have enough reward points for that. I've been aiming to complete her father's bodybuilder aspiration which is why I'm currently playing the house and I'm working on the daughter as well. He's pretty close to achieving it so hopefully he'll have points for it.

It doesn't have to be when the hygiene is low. You can do it at anytime!

The lamp is available in regular Buy mode, but it's only available if you've played specific packs in Sims 3 -- check under table lamps to see what's there.

If you don't have the lamp, I'd go with the thoughtful shower. If you've got a writer in the household and they've got any decor that boosts inspiration (there's a painting and a framed book), move one of those near the activity table and activate the aura.

You don't have to wait for low hygiene. I've noticed sims can shower even if they don't need one.

If you mean the plumbob reward lamp, it isn't in the regular rewards panel where you use achievement points. You had to have bought Sims 3 along with the Ambitions Expansion Pack, I believe, for that particular one. The different plumbob lamps were special Sims 4 rewards for having purchased EPs in Sims 3.
