Getting an A in school

For those who are still struggling to get their children/teens Sims an A in school, here is what the book says:

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:

To go from C to B
Get 2 skills to level 4, attend school while focused.

To go from B to A:
Get 4 skills to level 4, do extra credit 3 times.

HIGH SCHOOL

To go from C to B:
Attend school while focused

To go from B to A:
Do extra credit 3 times

I haven't found anything about how to do extra credit, but if/when I do I'll revise this post.

Hope this helps.

Lynny :)

The book was wrong on the C to B portion of elementary school. In game it shows the goals, and it says get 2 skills to level 4 and attend school energized for my kids.

Hum That's strange mine has to be focused before going to school. 1 is a Rambunctious Scamp & the other is an Artistic Prodigy. Wonder why some of the children need to be energized and others need focused??

You know, that might be. Different kids need different things to do well in school. That's pretty true to life, isn't it? :)

:( sadly that cheat doesnt work for me. idky it wont, maybve cause i have the Highschool EP and that affects it but ive tried every which way to get it to work and it wont He's still and F student
  • Hi @Skr0ala this is an old thread and will probably be closed soon, but, there is a known bug with the new EP where grades will not advance when you attend school actively. The workaround for now is to send the student alone to school when the performance meter is at or near the top, and the grade will go up on that day. You can add a "me too" here

tysm! I apologize btw i didnt realize how old the thread was.
  • I must confess that since I allow my Sim to have the two weeks of summer off, via MCCC, that it totally vexes me when I have them resume school, they start off with an F. That doesn't even happen in RL. You start with a C and work your way either up or down from there! I gave my older Teens an A. The Child Sim kept his C. Every time I have played this family, and it's been multiple times, the Child manages on his own to get the A.

Since Erik was only going to play this one 'year' in high school I gave him the A. He's an over-achiever. How do you think he became a Global Superstar in ten Sim days, eh?
