I just want a destination like we only have three and all of them to me are not really vacation/destination worlds, One is Star Wars I can see if your a really big fan then yeah. OR has barely anything in it. JA is just that an adventure an excavating adventure. I would like a destination/vacation world like Sims 2 Bon Voyage that game literally felt like my sims were on a vacation they checked in, got assigned a room, went sight seeing, ate at a local restaurant, when on rabbit hole tours, I took a ton pictures. Went shopping for souvenirs and jewelry. The Sims came back home refreshed and happy and the next time I went on vacation to the same place I did other things or discovered other things checked in at another hotel so it didn't feel repetitive and boring.

Put me down for team "every world should be residential with the option to vacation there." I'll never give up hope that they will eventually open up Granite Falls and Selvadorada, even if that's not very realistic.
The world is absolutely beautiful as always, and I'm particularly intrigued by the lovely bioluminescent swimming hole (cavern?), but I just hope it doesn't end up feeling empty. As always, I'm hoping for new harvestables, or at a bare minimum, a respectable number of the ones we already have scattered throughout the world... but I suspect I will be disappointed once again.
I've said for years that I wish we could manage which sims show up in other worlds via the trait system. For example, you could have a Homebody trait, which would make sims appear mostly in their own home world, versus something like Well-Travelled or Globetrotter (I originally proposed Adventurer, but that was before we got the Adventurous trait in Snowy Escape, which is obviously a bit different). The latter would make it more likely that sims would show up in other worlds. That would give me the option to say, you know, Nancy Landgraab is annoying, but she's a wealthy socialite, of course she's off gadding around the world all the time. But Eliza Pancakes? Sorry, you're out of luck. Or perhaps the trait could be tied to the lifestyles system, so that the game reacts to how often you choose to take certain sims out and about, or leave them at home.

Honestly, I don't understand why this isn't already a thing. It's so unrealistic to see Sims show up in a world they don't live in for non-vacation purposes, especially worlds that are probably very far away from their home world. Oh well, luckily there's Mods for that!

Oh, I see. Well, to each their own! :)

That's good however I personally don't use mods.

Not that long ago someone mentioned about a toggle on worlds which should be residental or which should be destination worlds
But the latter 2 comments gives me an idea for the toggle on/off option so the sims who lives in certain worlds stays in that certain world
We really need a toggle on/off option if we want our sim to stick with a certain world for some people who wants thisš

Briana2526ā I use a Mod that keeps Sims within their home worlds, so Sims walking the streets or visiting venues will mostly be Sims from that world. No seeing Bella Goth in Sulani!

Not gonna lie I feel like this is the reason why we don't have hotels/resorts like in Sims 2 Bon Voyage we had to travel to the destination world. What I would like is a vacation/destination world with hotels and resorts but not have the hotels and resorts locked we build hotels and resorts in any world. I do want a vacation/destination like in InZoi Cahaya the had a cut scene with the Zoi looked like it's was traveling on the plane. I want a loading screen of a plane or a picture of Sims on a plane with luggage going to a destination world, Your can relax, take pictures at picturesque view, order room service. Eat at a local restaurant. If you want to go back change up the narrative of the vacation.

I personally wish all worlds could be lived in. I would love if an archeologist could live in Selvadorado. I donāt want to see destination only worlds anymore. I would love my sims to be able to go to Granite Falls just for the day to visit specific venues. I try to have at least one vacation lot in all worlds, but the smaller occult worlds donāt always get one, there is not room in them for them sometimes. Like someone else said, you can turn any world into a vacation world. If Selvadorado were a regular world, I could have an archeologist live there and they would most likely show up when my other sims went there. I think Adventure awaits will be a regular world because they mentioned the camp counselor lives there, and someone built a vacation lot there. But the new lots sound like special lots.
