Someone made a post based on a world selections so there's hope World selections toggle and i agree, it's useless because 26 out of the 29 worlds are residental worlds

And we have vacation lots in residental worlds nowadays

I guess Im in the minority here I really want a destination world, I mean what's the point of a vacation if your going to live at the vacation and with all the EPs coming out we have to many residential worlds to keep up with we just got Innis green. I really want another destination/vacation world that's the best part so I can have storyline of different outcome of the vacation. 

You can still have this world as vacation destination. Just place a vacation rental lot in it and it will show up as an option when planning the vacation. This way you can live elsewhere and vacation in this world whenever you like.

Minority , but not only one 😅 Why I never want vacation worlds to be residential, as then its over for me in terms of taking a vacation 😊

I have "turned" Sulani and Mt Komorebi as vacation worlds only in my game, with way crocobaura​  mentioned, but still not quite the same 😜

I prefer residential worlds because I play multiple households and that way I can add some locals to my vacation spots and it isn't all just randomized sims there 😅 in vacation worlds you're kinda stuck with whatever game gives you when it comes to other sims to interact with

but yeah I'm personally still hoping for egypt type world cause these green woodsy worlds just ain't scratching my vacation itch the same 😅

its all too woodsy where I live so it just doesn't feel like vacation to me no matter how pretty 😅

You'll still see the same Sims it will break the immersion of being on vacation like in the trailer it appears you get away from your family to revive and rejuvenate right? How when you see family members walking around? I wanted like RL I don't want to see the same people/Sims unless they are on vacation as well. I want my Sims to have a vacation away from residential worlds not a jet 2 holiday. Plus we have 27 worlds if you have the packs like I do. 

My sims can and will vacation in all the available worlds. From my experience, some sims seem to go everywhere, so it's not like you can avoid anyone in particular if you wanted. If you want this world as vacation only, you can do so in your game by making all lots as vacation rentals. This way you and any other sims only go there when on vacation. Your sims don't have to live in this world if you don't want to. 

As some said above it won't be the same I'm not mad if it's residential however I'm saying I would love another destination vacation world instead of a residential worlds since we have plenty already.
