Give Food From Inventory?

Question

I'm not sure when my sim get this interaction with other sim on public area. This interaction comes in random. Most of the time, my sim doesn't have this interaction but I think mostly in the morning time, he gets this interaction to other sims.

My sim is a vampire so he doesn't need to cook or carry human food but still have this interaction with other sims.

If I click on it, the food list comes up in his inventory.

My sim's basic traits are Creative, Music Lover and Genius.
There's no trait related with food.
Is there anyone have this experience in game? :)

The only time that comes up in my game is when an older Sim (teen-Elder) clicks on a toddler and goes through the Toddler helps menu.

It shows up randomly for me too. I think it was intended for toddlers, but I wonder why it only occasionally appears for older sims too? I've also noticed some other interactions are like this too, sometimes there, other times not.

I used to use the bring food to someone mod in the sims 3. If Maxis supports this interaction for household, then I can help many things with neighborhood sims. :D

Yeah I've run into this as well.It doesn't actually make them eat whatever food you give them, either.Though I've also had the "Ask About Food" appear during house parties for Young Adult and older Sims, even though I think that interaction is reserved for Children/Teens.
