Glowing Trees.....
So I've noticed in some worlds especially in the parks, that there will be glowing trees. I thought it was the sun shining through but is it something different?

- That could mean the plant/tree is ready to evolve. Habe you tried clicking on one & aeeing if there's an "evolve" option?
- Are they harvestable trees that you can pick fruit from? Or are they from the landscaping trees that don't grow? Do you have any screenshots of them?
- Like Starfree said, the tree might be ready to evolve. But, as far as I know we can't evolve "wild" trees, or trees in community gardens, like in a park.
- If this concerns older saves, then those could be Growfruit trees? They spawned during the challenge back in 2016 and replaced some of the other fruit trees. Obviously that was a while ago. I still have them in parks and other areas with wild growing trees in my older saves. In my newer saves I just add them by placing a room I have saved to my library. They make for good fertilizer.

https://i.imgur.com/pU2Bcd8.jpg - Do you mean the ones that you can see flicker in the bushes and trees in Henford on Bagley. It's kinda hard to get a screenshot that shows them though. You can slightly see them in the bush to the left of my sim.

I think those in HOB are meant to be fireflies.- Oh the last picture came through I didn't see it before. Aren't those little balls of lights supposed to be fairies?
- @Elliandre, whether you can evolve a plant in a park (or in the open world for that matter) depends on how the plant was placed. If it's a "wild" variety, then no you cannot, but if it's a planted/grown variety, then yes you can. For example, though you can't evolve most plants in the open world, you can evolve the ones planted in the public space gardening area of the Old New Henford neighborhood in HoB.
