- LaBlue0314Rising ScoutThe only way I found I could get another sim, not in my household, to show up to class was this.
Just before it was time for my sim to leave for school, I had them group up with their friend. After they got there I waited till the class bell rang, and I ended the group outing. The friend stayed over the course of the class day. - mightyspritesimsSeasoned HotshotI think it chooses randomly the first time you attend school, keeps that group through Friday of that week, then re-rolls the following Monday. Teens in the new week could be teens who were or weren't there the previous week.
- Stina1701ASeasoned NoviceThis is what I was afraid off. I have an old established save game where I have plotted out, well semi plotted out my teens future, both housed AND non housed (as in townie teens), I even have friends grouped using the club system. This game is quite old and I know or is familiar with almost every Sim, both mine (in my rotation) and non mine. Both housed and non-housed, in both my favorite section and non-favorite section in manage household section.
In my favorites I have gathered up several non-housed townies and at last count my favorites consisted of about 500 sims. I really don't want to add more, which I probably will do if I find a teen that I like. I mean, I have at least one 8 Sim household because I found 3 homeless teens with no parent and scooped them up. They are now fostered by the original family.
Yes. I have a problem with my compulsion of townie saving. Some of my households in this rotation game are former non-housed townies.
One household consists of a homeless single mom with a kid and I gave her a teen son (added him as her son via CAS) that was roaming my game and was homeless and parentless.
One household has a kid (a child) with them that somehow appeared alone in non-housed Sim section (when I installed the Sulani expansion).
This is just a small example.
I would have loved to have my teen Sims attend their classes with teens already in the game. They don't have to be friends or even friendly but no unneeded new Sims.
Oof. My gameplay is going to colorful. - SheriSimSeasoned Hotshot

In my main rotational game save which is very old, I have a few townies I brought off the streets and housed too. Some I added other sims to the household, some were just perfect ( except maybe their clothes or hair which I redid ) on their own. And I play them in my rotation too. Some I have given large homes and cheated their money for them ( like premades are done ), some I didn’t cheat with. I redo a lot of my townies ( non housed ), and save them in case they get culled and I want to bring them back in. But some I house and play not to lose them. I have even taken a teen townie that became a gf of my male teen sim in my scenario rotational save, made parents for her and grandparents on both sides and Aunts and Uncles for her
