Grafting plants around winter time, Botanist career

Guys my sim is a botanist and when she is working from home she has an assignment to graft a plant. It is a winter outside. Plants don't let me graft option. Does anyone know where would be a place sh...

Yes, you have to take a cutting from the plant then graft the cutting onto another. You also have to lvl 5 of the garden skill.
