My oldest screenshot is from 24th of october 2014, so I guess I didn't buy it straight on release. I honestly can't remember. It hasn't been my favorite game of the series, that was ts3 for me. It took me a very long time (and a lot of free updates) to finally find my fun with it. There's a whole team of people pouring their hearts into the game, even if we don't vibe with it sometimes. Gotta remember that before saying stuff that could be hurtful against the game ; they are not the one in charge of every decision etc. I can appreciate what it tried to do and what it brought to the table that were a definite improvement over older versions (CAS, Build mode, the gallery, mainly). I wish it gave me the same "omg best game ever" feeling and hype I had with all the older games. But maybe it's just me? Dunno. I hope the next one will have that. I'm still on board with the sims, will check out the other competitors because eh, I love simulation games, but I'll still be here. I've been with this franchise for over 20 years after all.
