Oh Sims 4, you're making me feel old. But happy birthday to you!

12 Years!  🎂 🎉 A long time in technology and dog years.  Happy Birthday, Sims 4! 
My imagination wandered around The Sims sandbox for awhile.  Had a large family in Sims 3 with vacation homes and rebuilt worlds.  It took me a year before I started in Sims 4.  My first S4 "practice" family had the baby taken away because I was fumbling around.  🤣 I ran back to Sims 3.   

Good times with my first S4 bodybuilder family. Loved decorating the gym with paint from reference portraits of generations and their trophies. The house was (is) very functional, simwise, basic design. Had a family cemetery on the lot, pre L&D.     

September 2nd for North America but 4th for the rest of the world (even 5th for UK), a lot of things have changed in 12 years
(For example now DLC has an unique release date for everybody in the world no matter the device PC, Mac, Xbox One/Series X|S or PlayStation 4) .

It has been over 262 980 SimDays (many SimCenturies later) but Agnes Crumplebottom is still alive to keep an eye on our sims.

Let's see what other pieces of the puzzle will be added to the game in order to continue this journey.

I remember I wasn't paying attention to my college class even though it was the first day cause I was too excited to stop by the store and pick this game up😄

Happy birthday TS4! :)  To be honest, when starting playing this game I was disappointed, I thought the design was too pastel-plastic-gloomy, resulting in my Willow Creek renamed Gloomville. I had no idea that 12 years later I would eagerly still play the game, with about 27 worlds organized in 3 naions and still being developed. So, I'll never again trust a gloomy first impression... :)  Still playing my original save.

Happy birthday/anniversary, Sims 4. Just keep getting better and better!

Oh that feeling of first exploring a new neighbourhood is so magical 🥰 "oooooh what's that?" "oooooh what's over there?" you become the tourist rather than your sim 😂😆 

I am back. At least for today. Been busy with life so I rarely ever post on the Sims forums these days.

A highlight that changed the game for me, opened it up, was the birth of Aphreth Welch. Years before occult eyes were opened up for everyone. She's an alien.

She was unlike any sim I had seen before and needed an explanation. You can get an alien sim with human skin the easy way with two half-alien parents, but Aphreth wasn't in that category. She only had one alien parent. Why wasn't she blue or green? This is the most interesting puzzle I've had to solve in Sims 4.   

I had sims living at Streamlet Single. Only 20x15, but a celebrity home, with a rocket on the roof. Very normal. Sometimes you have to woohoo a tourist for fun and social, and that's also normal. Sometimes they are aliens. I decided to have a child with the disguised alien tourist. This is that child. It's because of Aphreth that I figured out how to get aliens born with seemingly impossible traits like Grimborn and Father Winter's Baby.
