Has anyone accomplished the Legendary Legacy achievement?

Well all my sims keep blanking out in my family tree, so I'm never going to be able to achieve this until Maxis fix the bug :(

My longest generation was in the Sims 3, with about... 5 generations or so. It was amazing, I loved it - I wanna get back into legacy gaming.

You're doing better than me! I just had a sim die and about 3 Sim days later, without playing any other family, she has been deleted. She never even appeared as a ghost! The game basically just deleted her as soon as she died. What's the point of that??? And her husband, who was about 6th generation, has lost his father so his entire legacy is gone.

Due to culling none of my progress counts -.- i've had over 40 sims, i'm on 5th gen but my original sims are dead and erased from the game, the legacy counter is still at 0 and i am very very angry about this

How do you find these challenges? Ive tried googling it but it just has player made challenges

It's actually an in-game achievement. :# :)

I really want to accomplish this! I'm currently on generation 6 of my legacy, the furthest I've ever gotten in any version of the Sims games.

That is what I am afraid of. I don't know how some people manage to complete this. If the only way is to do a baby factory and not really play, well, I'm not interested in that at all. I also should not have to use mods in order for the game to function properly.
