For me it was about a day she aged up on Friday I checked out another house for a little bit and went right back but I dont recall it happening too early Saturday. I feel there may be some random quality to it to keep multiple households in mind but cant be sure about that.
I agree with @telemwill I think the holiday may be an issue seeing that the highschool takes up the end of the week I never put a holiday there like I normally would. I do have a mod to do homework faster and some cc that is fairly old as far as I know. Which matters because if they dont need updates they probably cant mess with your game. So I don't think the mods are an issue.
