Has anyone else reconnected Johnny Zest with his family?

He's got a good relationship with Geoffrey but despises Nancy and is meh with Malcolm. My headcanon is that Nancy hates my sim that married Johnny and that made a huge rift in his and Nancy's already bad relationship after her disowning him and everything Geoffrey on the otherhand likes my sim and is happy she makes Johnny happy and that she's supportive of his dreams Geoffrey visits them a lot to spend time with Johnny and his granddaughter.
