Has anyone ever completed the outdoor enthusiast aspiration without cheating?

I've played a few sims with that aspiration, but I don't think any have ever completed it. I'm playing it again now, really focusing just on this one sim and one aspiration, but I seem to always hit a brick wall with collecting the wild plants. This time, it's toxic chamomile that I can't find, and I could swear it's just not spawning. At this point I basically know where all the spawning points are, but they're all coming out regular chamomile. Since toxic chamomile is one of those that only blooms in summer, my window is pretty short too (this is usually why I never complete the challenge. If you miss out during the right seasons, then usually my sim has passed away before summer comes around again). I keep going to granite falls, picking all the plants, then canceling the vacation, exiting, repairing the game, then going back, hoping new things will spawn, but it's just not happening. I could of course just cheat that milestone, and even download some of the plant from the gallery or something, but I really wanted to do this the "right" way as this is basically the only aspiration I haven't completed "legitimately" at least once (plus I don't think it registers in the collections as complete if you don't "identify" it, which will bug me. Anyone have any advice? Or does everyone just cheat this milestone lol. (and please don't suggest uninstalling or starting over with a new save, that is just NOT a reasonable thing to have to do.)

    Yes, I have completed it legitimately quite a few times in my older saves & I recently did it again with a new Sim in a new save. I have never had any issues completing that aspiration. I find that in a new save, I need to have my Sims stay in granite falls for a couple of days during the summer for the unidentified plants to mature & become harvestable, but once that happens, it is fairly easy for my Sim to find, harvest & identify all of the OR plants.

    The last time I tried to do this one, the game wasn't counting one of the plants as collected and identified. Technically, I didn't cheat on that, since I did collect and identify all of the plants, but there was a bug that wouldn't give me credit for it.

    I just reloaded my save. I don't know if the OR plant spawn points are the same in everyone's game, but for me, a toxic chamomile plant was just to the left of the Sim entry point for the campground. I always keep time paused while I scroll the areas & search for the unidentified plants. Another tip, in the Granite Falls Forest area, you can also turn on the overhead camera in build mode & then go back into live mode. I find that the overhead view makes it easier to spot plant spawn points.

    I completed this aspiration a couple of times, before the patch that broke gardening. I might try and have another sim give it a try. Yes, it is a difficult aspiration to complete with all the plants flowering at different times of the year. When I send my sim, I give them a good 3-4 days of vacation so they have enough time to search. Sometimes your sim has to be there awhile before the plants will even spawn. :s
