I don´t know if you finally bought it. But I thought might give you my honest and most heartfelt opinion:
If you are a builder wishing for that freedom fo these type of lots. Do NOT buy it. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCp5Bk0XXl0)
IF you are TRULY interested in the Ikea furniture and the elegant cas. Yes, go for it. These two are tasteful. Just understand that if it´s not your taste, don´t force it.
The world, I can tell you right now, is everything you would expect from a European country in the world of sims: train station, trams, bycicle lines, byclicles parked, cars parked in the streets. Channels and the mermaid statue. Beautiful small park on historic neighbour.
If you are truly genuinely interested in making tattoos, pottery, candymaking or teaching. Go for it.
If you only wish it for the small busines lot and you are on windows. Download littlemssam "live in business" is going to give you far more than this ep.
If you only wish for the cooking book and you are on windows. Download "grannies cookbook" by littlbowbub
I really had the biggest dissapointment with the small business lot but we have to give credit where credit is due.

I ran a daycare for a sim day it's a little buggy because when I put employees only a customer walked in that area anyways when they should not have. A worker was not doing their tasks however it was just a test I'll would like to do more also I found it fun too help out the kids and I got a good first review.

I was able to play for awhile yesterday. Took me a moment to get my bearings, as I stated on another thread, but my Sim now owns a Tavern. He's running it with his eldest son, and the eldest daughter of his best friend. I had a lot of fun. I put a kiosk just inside the front door. There's a kitchen, as Pubs and Bars do sell food, hence the employment of the girl, who has mad knife skills. I wouldn't wish to make her angry . . .
My Sim set up his management rules, which I saved and deleted in order to add more. then I saved again checking the weird gibberish my fingers tapped into the name of the rules. ☹️ Being friendly, is the first order of business. The owner made a point to greet his incoming guests, chatting them up. Many came in, had drinks, ate a bit, I was waiting for some to play games, having set up two tables, chess and cards. There is an upstairs unit for tv watching and darts.
He got some good reviews on their way out, too. That little bar is filling up. So excited. This is better than I recall Open for Business was in Sims 2. I love the retake on things in Sims 4.
