Has anyone's active household or played households won the lottery before?

Not me but others have and they get 1 million simoleons, it’s nice but that’s too much for my liking

The first time I had my sims play it and one of them won.

I thought the odds were stacked too high in favour of my sims and that they didn’t need the money so I cheated the winnings away lol. I decided that in future I would only play the lottery in families that could really use the money.

Mine haven't but the day after the winner was announced, my teen son met the daughter of the family that won as she was walking past his house. Guess who he started dating immediately? ;)

Her parents were both dead by the time they'd both aged up to YA so she was the last member of the family - they are fabulously wealthy now. I bought them a relatively fancy house. She continues to work in the business career but he stays home watching the kids and painting all day. LOL

My sims haven't won. Had lottery day come up in two saves after extending each season to 14 days. I found the winners and moved them into my town and made them my neighbors.

Yep, on the first try too! o.O I was totally shocked to say the least. :o I don't even know why I had my Sim, Lyric, buy a ticket since she already had almost 250K simoleans. Oh well... She is a Sim I'm using for my Bring Me To Life challenge. She had previously completed the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration, so even though I had her running around gifting 10K to everyone she met, it was a losing battle trying to get rid of that much money. The interest gained from that just canceled out everything. D'oh! lol

I don't know what I'm going to do with her now, other than try to complete the challenge. Thought about buying/building some retail and or restaurant lots or just cheating the money away. We'll see when I get back to that challenge. :)

BTW, the male Sim is her boyfriend, Brian. He's an alien and a Level 10 DJ. He was supposed to be Lyric's fiance', but he rejected her proposal while they were on vacation in Granite Falls to celebrate her windfall. o.O Silly alien... *rolls eyes*

One of my households won the lottery while I was playing with my other household.

My active household one it once. A stray cat in one of my other saves won it. Suddenly everybody wanted to adopt him! (Just kidding, my household adopted him but he didn't come with the millions)

I play rotation game ( I was able to rotate only 6 households since seasons release , out of 14) . 1 of 6 played households won 1 mln. It was very welcomed money, because their oldest child had to move out to the city. I like to keep money low, sometimes too low, but with seasons heating/ac bills, and my sims having too many children it's nice inheritance, because most of children in that family are ready to move out. So the daughter moved out with 100k to the city. She rented apartment, furnished it and had only 2000k left :D She asked her mom for more on the next holiday gathering, you know, mom is loaded ... :D
