Immediately after buying it, yes, because I only played with households that had horses for a while.
But my excitement for the bigger animals has since worn off a little, and I find that the pack's other, smaller features are much easier to integrate into my sims' everyday lives. Want your sim to be a Lady of the Knits using her own harvested wool, but don't have the time or space to accommodate a llama? Fine, give her a couple of differently coloured sheep and a hay rack, problem solved. Goats are also a welcome change from cows which tend to give way more milk than I'll ever need in addition to taking up a lot of space and being touchy at times. I still wish the goats were bigger, though.
Haven't really done much with nectar making, the few times I dabbled with it, the resulting nectar never aged, and I'm still not sure if that's a bug or it's really supposed to take forever. But I'm planning on experimenting more with that soon.
