Has Neighborhood Stories Gone Wild In Your Game?

One of my Sims died from freezing two weeks ago and I switched to their household at the time of death and I couldn’t find his urn and his wife and kids didn’t seem bothered that her husband and their father had died as both kids and their mother were feeling ‘Fine’

His ghost wasn’t in their relationship panels. Yesterday I find this dead Sims urn in the foundation of their house. Did the game cull his ghost straight away or was he a victim of MCCC ghost culling?
