Has the 18/6 patch broken the game?

The bug doesnt seem to affect everyone which is why it gets less exposure than vampire meditation bug, I would wait few more days if I were you until someone found a workaround.

I actually did this patch on the release day (that’s rare for me) and everything’s fine to me! If I did it, I think you’ll be fine.

Not so sure about that. I didn't update until the hotfix for MCCC was there. I had to remove RTF, though, so I have to play a different game save. I'm now back attempting to play my ancestral game save. But, it won't let me save. Tried it twice, so far and once I click on Save As, I get that screen, allowing me to name the save, but then instantly the game stops working. :open_mouth: I don't know if it's the hotfix, or the patch at this stage of the game. Or, the fact this game save was started before the patch. I may start a whole new game and see what happens.

Out of desperation, because I really, really, REALLY wanted to play my game today, I pulled my Mods folder. All I had in it was the hotfix MCCC 6.3.1 Yet, the game stops working. I began a brand new game save, thinking somehow the older one was corrupted. Got one family placed onto an empty lot, while I placed the lot I built previously. When I went to add the lot for the next family in this save, the game stopped working and shut down. Face/palm. I am now going to do a repair game and see if that works. I do wish I could unupdate (is that even a word?) Perhaps, it should be disupdate. I'm very upset. Some of the stuff in this particular patch I neither wanted nor asked for, but I am planning on purchasing Island Living, so I patched. Now, I'm frustrated. My afternoon to play is ebbing away even as I type this. Before long, I shall have to go downstairs to the kitchen and start cooking dinner. I'm thinking it may be a more profitable use of my time to go on an ancestral hunt, instead. Growl, growl, grumble, grumble. I am not happily.

Just Vampires for me. Now they can't use dark meditation or control emotions. Everything else seems to be more an outdated mod/cc related which I made sure I took those out of the game.

Also clean your caches after removing mod and CC folder so no residue from the mods stick in your game. Just removing the folder does not always remove all the mod and CC if the caches still hold the residue. One other thing you might try is make sure the season is summer. Someone could not get sims in water in other worlds because he ws in Winter so the season matters to. The new world is summer all the time.

I haven't noticed any big issues such as that. But I don't play with Mods. I haven't played with vampires but that seems to be the most bug mentioned on the forums.

However, I had noticed my Sims standing around more when they eat. Usually they would just walk around till they found a spot but now they just stand idle. I do think that's been an ongoing issue for some and not sure if it was addressed in this update.

endless load screens are almost always mod-related

I don’t use mods or custom content, but so far I haven’t had any problem with saving. The only time a sim has actually left the neighborhood though was when one sim went to work as a scientist, which turned out fine. Want to play my fisherman soon and see how the new fishing socials work.

I very much play supernaturals and no problem with them. They show in the water.
