@Aleia1 The fist time I lit a Christmas tree it was fine. I've never managed to do it again without a fire.
I think the campfires have always had a higher chance of catching fire than they should, also.
Low level cooks starting fires is a factor you can work with, and take steps to avoid. Objects that just have a high chance of fire and there's nothing you can do to make it less likely by upgrading the object or raising a skill are really annoying. It takes the fun out of campfires for sure, and I just decorate the trees and never light them anymore.
