Has your Sim ever been invited to another Sim's party - birthday, whatever?

We have a serious situation developing on potentially unfair treatment of some players's Sims. None of my Sims have ever been invited to parties - I've played quite a few Sims - played families - v...

My sims get invited to Birthday parties regularly. I rarely accept though because it makes the birthday sim age up even if aging is off and my sims have better things to do. Maybe the townies just don't like your sims? :D
