It is not fair if other people have Sims that get invited to parties.

Did you even know that your Sim could be invited to a party in TS4 - like a birthday party?
You have to know the Sims in houses to get invited to a birthday party. Usually if you accept it's your Sim who ages up. (If you taste the frosting it's a trick). To my knowledge they don't throw any other type of party and it's not a party. They go do their own thing and leave your Sim standing there. It's about as bad as invite to hang out at their house. You are left standing in the road and nothing to do in the lot they invited you to visit (their home). ETA: I don't know anyone in the houses anymore (but Pancakes and Goths did invite my Sims before they died out). ETA: Other invite types party at bluff, celebrate promotion at restaurant when my Sim doesn't even have a job etc. happen all the time but always at wrong times early morning (you know there isn't a wild party at 8:00 A.M.) or too late when my Sims is asleep.
ETA: It's been my experience Sims in your clubs don't do any other type of inviting because the first thing would be to start a gathering not a party.
