Has your Sim ever been invited to another Sim's party - birthday, whatever?

I can remember a few invites, one seemed bugged, this was before they wouldn't let you cook in another's home without it being rude my sim was invited to Candy's birthday. The caterer would only make salad I think it was and just kept using up the counter space, so I had my sim make a cake after dragging the food to the floor and she aged up with that. I took my sim upstairs came back and found that the caterer finally made a cake Candy interacted with that one and was an elder. I can't remember if I left her like that or aged her back down lol.
