Has your Sim ever been invited to another Sim's party - birthday, whatever?

We have a serious situation developing on potentially unfair treatment of some players's Sims. None of my Sims have ever been invited to parties - I've played quite a few Sims - played families - v...

Following a game update, I started a test save with a Sim living on Nookstone in Oasis Springs. Of course, the first person he met was Johnny Zest. Several days later my Sim got a phone call from Johnny inviting him to his birthday party. That's when I realized that aging had been turned back on. I always play with aging off.

Other than that, none of my Sims have been invited to any type of party except dance parties at The Bluffs or a club.
