I have no mods so the invites I get are in the game. I get all sorts of invites besides - like to the different festivals, to other parties, to clubs, to restaurants - if it is in the game I seem to get at least two invites every day. So perhaps that mod is cutting back on your invites. The only ones I except is the ones when my sim is off from work and does not have work the following day. I go with him to most of the others. Also he is not in any clubs either. I am not the club kind of person and never have any sims in the clubs - but he sure gets a ton of invites for those too. LOL. Also my sim is max level on many things - including dance, dj, bartendering, writer, gardening, handiness, charisma, rocket science. Programming, gaming, and 2 types of cooking... 15 level on Vamp secrets - so a lot of different types of sims seem drawn to him - but I do believe he has never had a wedding invite - just every thing else. Lot's of parties.
The funniest was getting a dinner party invite at Vllads - I wondered if my slayer was meant to be the main dish. LOL. He ended up having to make THEM dinner - of plasma fruit salad. LOL. But it really cracked me up when he got that invite. I also did not know you could get dinner party invites - I knew I could have a dinner party - but that was a first for me to get an invite to one in Sims 4.
