Has your Sim ever been invited to another Sim's party - birthday, whatever?

We have a serious situation developing on potentially unfair treatment of some players's Sims. None of my Sims have ever been invited to parties - I've played quite a few Sims - played families - v...

You're not missing much. They're always boring. There's never any music. I don't go to any unless it's a friend or significant other of my Sim.
