Have sims always been able to fall asleep in a chair?

Sims falling asleep in their chairs is very common and you don't need city living. It occurs when they are very tired or drowsy and are sitting down. Instead of falling over, they just fall asleep in their chair. I htink it can also happen from the dazed moodlet
