the most i had on the mods folder were 30gb. i liked to give makeovers to every single premade on the game so i was always downloading cc that looked close to their in-game clothes but with better quality. so anyways townies looked ridiculous on their conflicting cc and also the game took close to an hour to load.
so i decided to take one day to rearrange the mods folder, delete those items i didn't see necessary, and think about this: i don't even like half the premades on the game, why am i giving them makeovers?? so i started deleting them and just saving the cc of those sims i wanted to keep on the game, alongside other pretty cc. also i discovered npcc control and i could finally get rid of random generated townies.
so anyways now i have 15gb on the mods folder and i'm trying to clean it even more, the thing is there isn't many items on there it's just i download lots of high quality cc or alpha (a bit of maxis match too) so these tend to be heavy.
i have installed and uninstalled ts4 on the course of this year & last year but i always keep a backup of my mods folder just in case if i uninstall the game and want to play it again, i don't have to look for all the cc again, especially cuz i have some which now have broken download links.
