have you remade your TS3 sims in TS4?

I was sorting through my old TS3 pictures and it reminded me about the sims I had made & played as. I'd forgotten 'bout em til then since I stopped playing the Sims in general for a while (bought TS4 on release but couldn't keep at it) and made entirely fresh characters on my return. the only sim I'd remade really until now was myself so I figured it'd be fun to bring my "classics" back to life in TS4.

I used to dabble in modeling comps for TS3 and that's what I'd created Versailles for specifically. I super miss those eye contacts. . . might have to try and see about how to convert 'em for TS4. also didn't give her those unique eyebrows this time but who knows maybe they'll make a comeback at some point.

after looking through the pics, I recreated em by memory best I could so they're not exact replicas. but things change over the years and parts of them have too I think. anyway anyone else remake their older sims in TS4? comparison pics would also be neat. I like using my eyeballs for stuff.

    I've done that many times. The Lowell family, who I played in sims 3 until third generation ended up with 12- yes, TWELVE- kids from the five Lowell siblings in second generation, were remade many times in sims 4. I played one version of them until the birth of the first-born in FIFTH generation!

    I created few families from TS3(for PS3 because I never had TS4 for PC) and I adore them.
    I actually just played that game not long ago and it made me miss story progression so much!

    I don't mind them being exact replicas.
    I just like the spirit of them carrying over to a new game.

    I started Melonie when TS4 first came out.
    She became a little more like her TS3 self when I found more CC and quite a few CAS attempts.

    I did make these sims named Larry and Gerard for a Sims 3 challenge. I decided to remake them in TS4 shortly after and made them take on a life of their own.

    I brought back my Cantrell family. Erik was my singer Sim in Sims3, so I'm hoping to somehow recreate that aspect of his life in Sims4. (I have a couple of mods that just might get me there.) I've also added a new family to my game play. So, I'm not stuck entirely in my Simming past. Most often I get torn between the two saves, now.

    Yes, yes I did.

    I recreated a lot of my own Sims and many of the premade Sims from TS3 (as well as my own Sims from TS1 and TS2) and it was a real blast to recreate. I can geniunely say recreating all my Sims was the most fun experience I had while playing TS4, and if there's ever a TS5 you can bet I'm gonna do it all over again.

    Mine was a rock legend vampire from Sims 3. Rich, famous, very skilled and well traveled. She eventually retired to a small farm after amassing a vast fortune. Two plumbots were helping her with the produce while she was perfecting her painting skills. Eventually I had enough playing her and just put her in a stasis chamber with a note attached to it. "Wake me up in 100 years!".

    One night she woke in a coffin, alone in an empty San Myshuno apartment. Her bank account was frozen and people had already forgotten about her. Not a problem since this game is easy! She got most of it back and is now living in a hip penthouse. Still hoping that we'll get a fame pack so that she can get reach new heights!

    I have, though it’s been a long time since I played the save that contains them. They were my generational family in TS3; I had made it to about 4 generations before the save had stopped working entirely.
    So I recreated the same original family in TS4 that I’d started off with in TS3, which consisted of a brother, his younger sister, and their parents. I had put off playing them after awhile, though, because the lack of content at the time. Not to mention, we didn’t have toddlers yet either, which were a big part of it all for me in TS3. But now that TS4 feels full enough for me to return to that family, I haven’t been overly interested; been too preoccupied by my main save (another generational one) which is much bigger than TS3’s had ever been.

    Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures at the moment.
