Having Sims Based On TV Shows Or Franchises

I don't have a whole save just for them, but I added some fictional characters into my main save for fun. Voldemort is the grim reaper, Squidward Tentacles is in my sims' , and a whole set of anime characters is in their rival gang

I have sims from Detroit: Become human and Hogwarts Mystery in the same save. The setting of that save is Detroit in 2038 (by now 2043). There is no magic, the Hogwarts kids are all adults who went to the same college and their Hogwarts story is just a roleplaying campaign that they play.

Hogwarts Mystery's MC is married to Merula Snyde, they have a pet unicorn (based on a dog). Rowan Khanna owns Urban Farms and is married to Zoe Patel, Rupert Travis is a high ranking Urban Farms manager. Andre Egwu plays basketball for the Detroit Pistons and goes steady with Tina Chen, who brought her son with Gavin Reed into the relationship. Ben Copper is an android. Orion Amari, Murphy McNully and Jae Kim are sitting in my library, but I plan to add them soon. The rest of the cast I'm not interested in (except maybe Diego, but I haven't met him yet in the game, so can only judge from hearsay).

I have a ton! Ones I've created: a whole set of Harry Potter ones based on the premise that Sirius never went after Wormtail (so Harry still lives with his parents, and Sirius and Remus live together, they're all on the Gallery), a bunch from Subnautica (Ryley, Bart, and Robin in one household, the Aurora crew in another; I also have noCC households on the Gallery for Ryley, the Degasi crew, and the Aurora crew on the Gallery), a Disney household (not on the Gallery as they use CC, got Elsa and Anna, Merida, Ariel, and Jasmine), and the Crystal Gems (main three, Steven, and Greg in one household, planning for Lapis, Peridot, and Bismuth in another, and Connie and her parents in a third). I'm also working on some His Dark Materials ones, already got Lyra and her adopted dad Lee Scoresby Asriel has no parental rights dangit, have plans for Will and his Mum, and I really want Iorek but have literally no idea how. Suggestions appreciated!!

Future plans: Aside from the other HDM and SU ones, I also want a Star Wars trio (Luke, Leia, and Han, maybe some others), some Zelda ones (tentative plan is a BotW-era household with Link, Zelda, and Sidon, maybe another with Impa and Paya?), and a Doctor Who household with Thirteen and Missy LET ME DREAM.

Downloaded ones... I have the Addams family (they live across the road from the Goths), Mark Watney from The Martian, and Connor, Hank, and Sumo from Detroit Become Human.

I have two characters from That '70s Show roaming around in my main save. It makes no sense, but I hardly ever see them anyway (they're just homeless townies). I made Hyde because I love him, and had plans to do the whole gang and even try to build the Forman house, but I'm too lazy (being a perfectionist, it would take forever). The other guy is David Milbank, a one-off character from a season 1 episode. I only made him because the actor (Scott Whyte) is one of the Sim voices, so he could even have his actual voice.

ugh I wish I still had the pictures. I checked and even the thread about them the pictures are gone but I played Lucy and Ricky Ricardo in San Myshuno and even transformed their apartment to look like the one on TV. Of course, I had Ethel and Fred living across the hall. Ricky was in the entertainment career and Lucy would just get into shenanigans with Ethel. It was so much fun. Once Ricky and Lucy died of old age, I played Little Ricky for a while into his young adulthood but I lost some interest.

Ok...this must be the weirdest household consisting of fictional characters I've ever put into my game. It's a household of 8 consisting of Peter Griffin, Harry Potter, Carl Wheezer, Robbie Rotten, Sonic (as a dog), Baldi, Sans and a random teen girl I've found on the gallery. I don't intent to play them, I just wanted more weirdness in my game. Why these characters specifically? I don't know, I've just looked at too many memes during quarantine I guess. The household name is literally just "meme".

I use characters from the Original Star Trek, also known as TOS in Trekkie Circles. I'd post images, but my Browser is not allowing me to call up certain sites. They keep timing-out. Face/palm. Perhaps, this is only temporary? I know many people are home using their computers but still. This is the first day I haven't been able to access a few thing. Yikes.

I always create sims based on TV show characters! They always end up very different compared to their TV show prototypes though. I had a Buffy save, a DC save and currently I'm playing in a Marvel save which will transform to another TV show as soon as gen 3 is born (I'm nowhere near that point but I'm already planning LOL). It's just a very easy and simple way to get unique-looking sims with interesting stories so why not do it? ;)
