Heat acclimation and cold acclimation

Does anybody have these traits on their sims?

Am I right in thinking that these traits will stop sims dying from extreme temperatures, but will still allow them to feel uncomfortably hot/cold?

After having 5 sims die on me this morning I don't want to risk it happening to my played households.

    These traits make sims last longer in heat or cold until they die. These won't stop death, but instead push it farther.
    If you don't want a death at the moment, press Control+Shift+C and type in this cheat:
    death.toggle off

    There are also mods that stop temperature deaths.
