My sympathies and good wishes go out to those suffering in the heat. I'm in Louisiana, so pretty used to it although it's not something I enjoy. The weather has gone bonkers. While the PNW and Canada are having an insane heat wave, just a few months ago in Feb, this whole area was battered by an ice storm with freezing rain and snow. NOT common in Louisiana, although it does happen occasionally, except this time it didn't all melt after a day. It hung around for DAYS. Our low was 7 one night (Fahrenheit, negative 14 C). Definitely not accustomed to that poo.
Stay cool people. I know a lot of you don't have AC, so fans and wet rags should be your new best friends. And if you think you've drunk enough water, drink some more just to be sure.
