HELP! Celebrities are invading my game!
Is it just me or are celebrities too common in Get Famous? It makes sense that you are able to see a lot of them in the new world, but c'mon I had like 5 celebrities at the same time in my restaurant ...

I bought Get Famous and it works just fine for me. I play a modded game using MCCC to fix a few things like more sims on lots and things like that. It might make the gameplay feel different from those who play it vanilla.
Here is what I did to make it work in my saves:
* Turned off fame the minute I logged on. I haven’t seen anysim of mine getting fame out of turn
* Having a few dedicated sims ready that I cheated fame and reputation on. That was easily done, really appreciate that it was so straightforward.
* No lot-traits with fame
I have taken some time to think it over and I finally got a way to make this pack jive with my playstyle and it is so good. All regular sims are second class citizens in my saves so the fame-system reinforces that by only having aliens, vampires and ghosts as really famous sims. Two hardworking regular sims made as two stars celebrities but that is as far as they will ever get.
Even the sparkling stars and slow walk work great! There is one single alien sim that is my chosen avatar ingame. She rains simoleons or pain on this little world as I see fit. Riggs up the death pools when it is time to cull the heard or buy your family a new house, you never know. She is the only sim unaffected by heat, cold or bladder. Always cool and in control. It really fits that everyone fall over themselves to appease her. There will never ever be another sim in my save with five stars.
So there, I am a very happy simmer. My beloved ocult sims have gotten a new way to keep the regulars downtrodden and my precious Fairy Godmother is finally worshipped as she ought to be. Haven’t even touched acting or anything else in the pack. I always explore new packs slowly.
