Help fix my Sims story??
Carli Zapata is an alien who ran away from Sixam because she didn't want to be betrothed to the Sixamite equivalent of a prince.
She was a squatter for a while in Brindleton Bay and currently lives in Evergreen Harbor
Darin Orion (Da as in first and Rin as in Heir, but known to human earthlings as Darren), loved the clever, talented Carli from afar. He made arrangements for their pairing through their parents when she disappeared. Naturally, he had his people do what they could to find her, sending agents to Earth. When one of the agents reported back her whereabouts, he disguised himself and personally went to Brindleton Bay.
There he is staying with a mother and daughter {Sims I've created} in a sort of B&B arrangement.
Working as a Freelance Programmer (mostly a cover) Darin is waiting in disguise to accidentally-on-purpose bump into Carli and sweep her off her feet. He is hanging out at the Brindleton Bay library when low and behold, she walks in. He introduces himself and phone numbers are exchanged.
That is when Carli asks him on their first date {while I'm playing as him}. Which is brilliant, but then turns out to be at the bar in Sulani!!
It goes swimmingly (not quite literally, haha). And I have some cute-as screenshots; but I can't figure out an excuse for them to have travelled together to a tropical climate.
In my own head cannon, certain worlds are significantly further apart. In this instance, Brindleton Bay and Evergreen Harbor are part of the same coast, but Sulani is almost always the overseas tropics. Please help!!
