How about grabbing this opportunity to finally bring us that Game Pack with the Grim Reaper career, functional graveyards, funerals, and upgraded, playable Ghosts? A goth CAS would fit nicely into a "wallow in death" theme. And you could throw in an 80s retro goth music station. B)

I also found the Voodoo themed concept art I mentioned earlier in this thread ⬇️:
Notice Paranormal's "Sacred Candles" and the crystal ball. I hope the rest will also find its way into the game at some stage! It's all so beautifully dark. >:)
So I have VERY bad migraines that I have to get botox for, but before I started getting botox, for years I was so sensitive to sound that I couldn't watch movies, tv, listen to podcasts, listen to music - except for certain music. Metal actually was soothing to me. Anything with any sort of high pitched frequency set off a migraine that could last for days. Something as simple as a "hot line bling" hehe or a coin dropping. I hope that's not the case with you. If so, I am SUPER sorry, and I hope that you look into botox!! If it's just that their music is - well, difficult to swallow - they are a pretty far-out band that is kind of inaccessible to a lot of listeners, I'm afraid. I think the first music video of theirs that I posted was "Ma Cherie" because it is a bit more palatable than the others to the general public, but - definitely a niche band. Les Discrets is pretty niche too, I think, it's just in..in your niche lol. It's kind of like, I guess lol, I was wanting to send my friend a Health video after we went to the Health / Perturbator concert awhile back (one of the best shows we have ever been to btw), and I asked my partner which one to send, he said it was difficult because not all of the songs are super palatable to the newcomer. I honestly don't see why on that one though, why that wouldn't be palatable. I listen to a lot - a LOT - of different types of music though, and I have since I was a kid - for example I used to get made fun of for listening to pop, but my first concert was Slipknot! and when triphop was a thing, I was all about it, the list goes on forever - and I think that having such a wide range of music interest may not be the norm. I totally get having selective taste on some things, though. For example lol, I have pretty selective taste in men - I broke up with my childhood boyfriend because he got a haircut, and I joke with my partner that if he cuts his long hair, I mean, there is precedent. ;)
I didn't realize Botox is used for treating migraines and other medical conditions. I'm glad this works for you! I can't imagine the distress that's caused by cluster headaches, but I do know a couple of people who have it and it's no joke. Fortunately I do not suffer from migraines (*touches wood*) so I suppose I do not require Botox treatments. I assume I have an undiagnosed form of hyperacusis...probably. Noisy power lines, bad wiring, old tv sets, ultrasonic devices such as mosquito/ teen repellents...some Japanese bands...these are all pretty detrimental to my mental well being. I've had it since I hit puberty, and although I'm well past the ages of puberty now, the anti loitering devices still have that desired effect on me. :D I do spend a lot of time in the great "white noise" outdoors to make sure I'm not going absolutely mental, so there's that. Good 'aul nature is the ultimate cure.

So in our swampy world, we could ferry Sims across the bayou, leaving the mossy, looming, willow trees from the shore and into the misty gateway where you cross the soul bridge to the Otherworld. There, you find the dead and other Reapers milling about with the ancestors of Sims, and you report to Grim himself for your next mission.
Unless there's a waiting room. I'm suddenly reminded of the offices in Beetlejuice...
Oh! Since this would be a pack full of gothy goodness, could we get a nice, gothy dance, Wednesday Addams style? Imagine seeing a group of Reapers doing that dance. That would be amazing.
Also, has anyone seen the anime "Black Butler"? There's an entire society of Reapers with offices and everything, lol. It's actually pretty awesome, and each Reaper is different.
I just thought what if there was an underworld like in the tv show “Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell” lol - that is one of my fave shows of all time, so funny. It’s like, people who die and go to the underworld either become demons or the tortured, and the demons are like office workers for the most part, in addition to their torturing duties. Like that could be a new career path, if you have a sim who dies, you could continue playing as them into the underworld. Anyway that’s probably a pretty dumb idea but the thought of an underworld made me think of the show. I personally would be interested in that career path but I don’t know how many other people would be interested or if they would think it’s too goofy of a concept.
Edit: I know that it’s not a classic show, it’s goofy humor, but it’s a comfort show when I’m stressed or whatnot, like certain cartoons, you know?
