I was watching James Turner’s reaction video and he did mention seeing a stage at prom with multiple guitars. I highly doubt it’s coming in this pack but why have a stage with 5 guitars on it? I would love to see it come soon and it would be nice to have a teen band again.

Is it just me, or have I gotten used to some teens just looking like adults?

Probably when Lucas Munch aged up and looked like he could work an office job and I was like, "Welp. I guess some teens are like that!" And then changed his fashion up a bit to look a little more like the teen he is.

I think that they did an okay job making the sims in the trailer look like teens, at least if you have the mindset that these are sims that are close to becoming young adults. They also did a good job showcasing what kind of school and world they are supposed to live in with the new clothes. It's a very colorful world where sims are free to express themselves openly. I thought when I saw the clothes that they did not feel like clothes that a teenager would wear, but the trailer is helping me more understand what kind of world these teens are living in.

I use a simple height slider to make my sims look a bit more like teens when they are together with young adults, I suspect that's why there are so few young adults in the trailer because they would look less like teens with young adults hanging around.

Creating even more ways for Sims to explore their identities, a free base game update will go live alongside the release of High School Years, introducing an additional new feature that will add more choice and opportunity for discovery to your Sims’ lives.

The free base game update will also introduce body hair. For those with the High School Years Expansion Pack, Sims will be able to groom and trim their body hair’s natural growth over time, celebrating that transition through puberty.

I plan on doing a lot of those you have on your list, the only possible exception might be the Mean Kids. I think I'll have them in my game, maybe not. Not good real world memories there, and those are part of why it's taken me some time to get revved up for this pack.

Something I've wanted to do, with both teens and adults, is to have better gender fluid sims. We can do it now, but it feels really limited and we're forced into some less than desirable compromises. I'm super excited for this pack and the update because I get a really optimistic feeling that we're about to have a lot more tools to explore that with.

For me, it is going to depend on the sims I am playing at that moment; but one teen is a goth, another is a prep and the last one is closer to a outsider/loner. They are all friends. I am putting that save on pause until the pack is out as I just pre-ordered it. I just started where my goth teen was turned into a werewolf; but her ancestors were spellcasters and given all of that up to be a werewolf. I had this set up and planned before even hearing about the HSY pack, so it just works perfectly for this.

They have like first crushes or something but I want to be able to hold hands while walking, lock arms with friends while walking. Kiss on head or cheek or hand cute little romantic stuff.

I really like it! Everything looks exciting! Photo booth is back! Also, one of the poses in the photos, ILY (I LOVE YOU) sign language is showing unless it is a rock and roll gesture, but I think it is a ILY sign, which is interesting that they include that.

As a homeschooled kid I don't know that much about school or what all the different categories mean except for what I learned on American TV.
I bet no one here knows about it, especially since there is no subtitle but my favorite teen show of all time is a Mexican series called Clase 406 I think I've watched it like 3 times over now!
So I kind of wanted base my teen story on that but honestly there are so many ways to play this I'm confused ? with werewolves I wanted to do twilight too lol. I've been thinking of so many scenarios ?

I'm definitely gonna have categories though!
