Did anyone else notice that there's a book called Fortunetelling for Goofballs at the curio shack? It's totally out of place when compared to the other items for sale. Probably just wishful thinking on my part, but this is the speculation board after all. Thoughts?

I hadn't noticed that. I think we really have to have witches this year, the call from the players is just so high. There seems to be greater consensus on this than on anything else beside Universities.

I hope Sorcerers come, tho I don't think it's a hint.

Even if it is indeed a hint, doesn't mean we'll get witches this year, I'm afraid. :( The toddler update from early 2017 included a hint at Seasons in one of the toddler books, yet Seasons only came out a year and a half later...

At this point I don't think it's a question of if we'll get witches, more like when. But that "when" is still as unclear as it has ever been.

Heck, both "Vampires" and "Spooky Stuff" have hinted at werewolves (and the base game too, if you count the howling wolf T-shirt), and I still don't have my lycans. Though, I do hope we get a new supernatural soon. If witches are indeed next, werewolves had better be close behind...and they'd both better be just as well-crafted as vampires, or EA will be getting my Sassy Black Woman Voice.

Haven't seen the Book yet, but I'm interested.
When it comes to hints, we can guess that there will be fortune telling.
Don't really care about it unless it comes with Witches.

I also had a thought that since goofballs make great comedians, maybe, if it's a hint at all, we might be looking at a late night sort of pack with new entertaiment related careers, including fortune telling.

I don’t have the Strangerville pack but hopefully it is a sign. TS4 aliens are so pointless and it’s quite boring when there’s only two occult types.

The Wicker Whims item set was a nod to the NSFW mod Wicked whims not to witches. the only hint to witches Laundry Day had was that Item which had a description about magical attributes
