Holidays and Events in Forgotten Hollow..

Wondering how you all plan holidays and traditions when in Forgotten Hollow. The worlds where I think they have American counterparts I tend to play Northern Hemisphere timing (Christmas in Winter) even though I live in the Southern Hemisphere where the holidays land in opposite seasons. I also put in Fourth of July and Thanksgiving. But somehow Forgotten Hollow seems NOT quite American to me. Like maybe somewhere European. So, yeah, wondering what you think and how you play your holidays when your Sims live in Forgotten Hollow

Wait--have I missed something? Are we able to create holidays for individual worlds? I thought we could only create a universal holiday calendar that applied to all worlds?

For all my holidays, no matter the world, I have just one tradition for each of them (go on a date, make a resolution, and cook a couple of grand meals) as it just makes things easier overall. Not really played in Forgotten Hollow though, so I might see what happens if I do.

I keep forgetting to play holidays & events. However, I do play all festivals.

Pretty sure there is only one calendar, but as I generally play one active family at a time (in any given save)
