- MidnightAura86New SpectatorSaddened but not surprised the holidays is basically the club system with a different name. For those that like clubs, I can see the appeal but for me it’s just more unnecessary recycling rather than something new.
Also under the “official holidays” is that a check list with the whole “complete things to get aspiration rewards?” - So botanist is an active career? It sure looks like it in the trailer! At about 1:16

I noticed plenty of new objects, hair and clothing. I'm so excited after watching this second trailer, it's even better than the first.
Indeed! A lot of hairstyles, thankfully! And the seasonal earrings are a nice touch. Although I only really liked the leaf earrings, the snowmen and heart earrings seem a bit limited in usability.
Oh no. Missed the earrings. Guess I'm forced to watch the trailer again.
Ha! Made you watch it again! :D - janysesNew Observer

I just realized that every event is set by day in the trailer, there aren't any events that last for several days, so I guess... Here goes my dream of having guests over for several days. :(
I'm hoping there are other options that we just haven't seen. For example, we don't know what happens after clicking the checkmark. Maybe it's like parties and there will be additional options to choose from.
You could also repeat the same holiday multiple days in a row, but I don't know if the guests will stay the whole time or repeatedly leave/return. - lovlybNew SpectatorDid anyone else notice this? it seems like a new world. I say this cause I never seen a food stand anywhere other than city living & pet packs. I could be just seeing things.

I believe they have updated some of the existing public areas for seasons. It's not a new world. "lovlyb;c-16519855" wrote:

It's in Willow Creek in front of Oakenstead. They've changed the old worlds so that food stands will appear there.- 5782341b77vlNew SpectatorLooking at 0:42 - I'm not sure if my 3 day (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) music festival ("Music In May") is going to be possible. I might need to settle for just a one day festival instead - if it's a day by day type of schedule.

It is not really a checklist, I think it is just a list of the traditions for that holiday, and each time you do one of those things, you get points that can be used for the special rewards (immune to cold etc.). But you don't have to do them, and you can do them as many times and in any order you want, so it's definitely better :)
