Home Chef Hustle Questions

My Sim currently lives in Willow Creek in the lot by the special tree. She puts her stand on the corner of her property, near the path all the NPCs take past the tree and her stand is always full of customers; Some NPCs stop by, but also the neighbors in the other houses in that dead-end area stop by every time she starts a sale. I haven't tested using the stand in a park yet, but that would be my second choice, or I was thinking maybe in San MyShuno during a festival if that's possible--anywhere there is a lot of foot traffic already coming by.

I've only done it with putting the cooked food in my inventory first, but supposedly you can also put the small appliances in your inventory and put them on the stand and cook there in front of customers. I haven't tested that yet, though.

My sim did a front yard sale of mandrake roots and it was evening turning to night in Glimmerbrook and about 10 sims or so showed up to buy her stuff. Sold about as many mandrake roots before she closed for the night and sent everyone home. I don't think it matters where you put the stand because the customers will come anyway, spawned specifically for this. But if you're feeling bold, you could try sell at the festivals as there are more sims there to buy food.

Does anyone know if the Home Chef Hustle food stands spawn NPC vendors on any community lots?
Perhaps the marketplace community spaces, like the other sales tables do?
Any others?

The new foodstalls do not spawn vendors. I tested this on a community market place, a bar and a park. No vendors.

I also noticed my sim could only start selling on stalls she brought along in her inventory. If the stall was placed in build mode on the community lot, my sim was not considered the owner and could not add food to the stalls inventory. Therefor she could not start a sale. When I popped out a stall she had brought in her personal inventory everything worked fine.

I also have a question. The cupcakes are now available on regular oven but what about the other baking recipes? My sims can also bake things like donuts, croissants and eclairs on the cupcake machine. I'm not sure but I think there recipes come with the baking skill in get to work. Are those recipes still exclusive to that rediculously giant appliance?

Yes, it was just the cupcakes that were freed.

Too bad. This means there are still baking recipes limited to the cupcake machine. :( Ah well, I can always build a basement and still use it.
